Australia — Senate gambling reform report

**17 August · Parliamentary report date**

The Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee is due to report on the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Gambling Reform) Bill 2026 and the National Self-exclusion Register cost-recovery levy bill. This is a parliamentary milestone, not a compliance deadline.

Ireland — GRAI consultation

**20 August, 15:00 local time · Consultation closes**

GRAI is consulting on prescribed games, electronic records and accounts, and information and gambling-history access for remote account holders. Responses will inform whether the authority makes the proposed regulations.

Tasmania's sixth social and economic impact study is accepting evidence on the benefits and costs of gambling. The study is part of the recurring review required under the Gaming Control Act 1993.
