How to report a concern about Atlas news and analysis, and how we handle material changes.

Review
Atlas Editorial reviews the article, cited material and new evidence. Material concerns are prioritised, and we acknowledge requests as promptly as practicable. Complex or disputed matters may require additional review.
Correction or clarification
If a material factual error is confirmed, we correct the article and add a clear note explaining the material change. Clarifications may be added where the original wording was technically accurate but could reasonably mislead without more context. Minor spelling, formatting or style edits may be made without a correction note.
Updates are not corrections
Regulation changes over time. An article may be updated when a proposal advances, an implementation date changes or a new decision is issued. A normal development is labelled as an update; an error in the original publication is handled as a correction.
