The Commodity Futures Trading Commission recorded a KalshiEX fantasy-football contract amendment with an official receipt date of 11 August 2026. The CFTC page labels the item '10 Day Review', while the public submission letter included in the associated documents is dated 12 August.

That date difference should remain visible in the record.

The official filing page says Kalshi is shortening the product name, expanding the time-period variable and adding cancellation and postponement provisions. The amended product asks whether a named player's fantasy-football points will be above, below, between, exactly at or at least a specified value for a stated period.

Kalshi filed the amendment under section 5c(c) of the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulation 40.6. In the clean public submission, the exchange certifies that the amendment complies with the Act and Commission regulations. Certification by an exchange is not the same as an affirmative Commission approval order, and the public page does not state a separate effective date.

The time-period definition is materially broader than a season-total label alone. The clean terms allow a calendar year, a month and year, a calendar quarter, a specific week, a season or another bounded period appropriate to the contract. Unless the terms say otherwise, periods are interpreted in Eastern Time and end at 11:59:59 pm ET on the final day.

The public terms identify Sleeper as the source agency and describe a one-dollar notional contract quoted from $0.01 to $0.99. The filing also adds rules for delayed, postponed or cancelled games and for a player who is not assigned a fantasy-points value at expiry. Those provisions determine whether a market remains open, resolves under the contract's fallback approach or uses a zero value in the specified circumstances.

The associated record includes a redline and a request for confidential treatment covering separate commercial and legal material. The public filing therefore shows the operative amendments while confirming that some appendices are not part of the public evidence set. Readers should not infer the content of confidential material from the existence of that request.

The '10 Day Review' label is a CFTC status description. Neither the page nor the public submission states that 21 August is a legal approval deadline, so the prior draft's derived status-check date has been removed. The reliable action is to monitor the filing page for a changed status, additional document or Commission notice after the review period.

This product amendment is also distinct from CFTC Release 9281-26 and the Washington injunction. The filing addresses one fantasy-football contract's terms; the release addressed a reported market emergency; the state order governs access to specified products in Washington. The next observable event for this item is a change on the CFTC filing page, not an assumed approval on a calculated date.
