ASIC cancels Zenoz credit licence over unpaid levies
ASIC cancelled Zenoz’s Australian credit licence after unpaid 2023–24 levies and penalties remained outstanding, ending its authority to conduct credit activities.

ASIC has cancelled Zenoz Enterprises Pty Ltd’s Australian credit licence, effective 3 July 2026, according to its notice.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission said Zenoz had ceased engaging in credit activities and failed to pay industry funding levies and related late-payment penalties for the 2023–24 financial year. The amounts remained outstanding for more than 12 months.
Zenoz held Australian credit licence number 000544102, granted on 16 February 2023. The licence authorised the company, identified by ACN 621 170 616, to conduct credit activities as a credit provider.
The cancellation removes Zenoz’s authority to conduct regulated credit activities under the licence from the effective date.
ASIC relied on section 54(1)(d) of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth), which allows it to cancel or suspend a credit licence where the licensee has not paid an applicable levy, late-payment penalty or shortfall penalty in full at least 12 months after the payment due date.
The notice also cites section 54(1)(b), which permits ASIC to cancel or suspend a licence where the licensee has ceased to engage in credit activities. The notice does not say that the action reflects insolvency, misconduct or a broader enforcement rationale.
For Zenoz, the immediate consequence is that it can no longer conduct credit activities as a credit provider under Australian credit licence number 000544102. Firms reviewing counterparties or credit-provider registers should record the cancellation against Zenoz’s ACN and licence number.
ASIC’s notice does not specify a transition arrangement, appeal process or separate client-protection measure. It also does not identify a replacement licence or continuing authority for Zenoz to conduct credit activities.
The cancellation took effect on 3 July 2026. Any further action depends on a subsequent ASIC notice or other official filing concerning Zenoz’s licensing status.
